LICENSE AND ORDINATION
1) Establishing a MyCMA Profile
The entire process starts with establishing a MyCMA profile at http://www.cmalliance.org/serve/sign-in so that we can get to know you. During this phase you can also get to know about the C&MA, our values and mission. In the "Getting To Know You" profile, you will be connected with the Central Pacific District by checking "yes" to "Did a specific C&MA District Office direct you to the website because you are being considered for placement in a church and must first complete the application for ministry?" Chose the Central Pacific District as the District you are working with in the drop down menu.
2) Steps To Complete the Application for Alliance Ministry
1. To start the application go to http://ecommunity.cmalliance.org/
2. If you do not have a MYCMA account, please go to the “Create Account” link toward the top right of the page.
3. Enter your first and last name as your Username.
4. Enter your Email address.
5. Create a password of your choice you will easily remember.
6. Check the box at the bottom of the page that says, "I have read, understood and agree to these rules and conditions" at the bottom of the page.
7. Click "Register". Log out after this step.
8. Go back to http://ecommunity.cmalliance.org/
9. Click "Sign In".
10.Enter your e-mail address and password and click "Sign In".
3) Before The Accreditation Interview Requirements
Already having 30 credits in Bible/Theology/Ministry, completion of the Application, passing the Bible Exam with an 80%+ and completing the Appliance Polity Course, an accreditation interview by LO&CC leadership will take place, where we will assess your character, calling and readiness for ministry as an Official Worker with the Alliance. Your license will be issued after placement in a C&MA church ministry. (Please note that for various reasons, not everyone is approved for vocational service with the C&MA, but we desire to help you find your place in God's work)
Alliance Polity Course:
Ordering the course is completed online through the National Office Events Registration system, with online payment of $100 through a credit card. Please use the following link to register for the course: http://www.cmalliance.org/resources/church/polity.jsp
Ministerial Study Program
The Ministerial Study Program (MSP) is designed to develop character and competency in skills for ministry. Though the student will gain knowledge, the emphasis of this course is on growing in Christ-like character and developing practical ministry skills. Candidates for the program must be approved by the local congregation and recommended by their respective district superintendent. The student will study under the supervision of a coach appointed by the district. MSP fulfills the academic requirements of The Christian and Missionary Alliance for licensing and ordination or consecration.
